Analyst - Cyber Transformation

As a member of the KPMG team in India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and investigating security alerts to assess their validity and severity. You will be required to perform initial triage and escalate security incidents to the appropriate teams or individuals, following established procedures for incident response, containment, eradication, and recovery. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other members of the MDR team and cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve security incidents. Your role will also involve documenting incident details, actions taken, and making recommendations for future improvements. Additionally, you will assist in the development and maintenance of MDR procedures, processes, and documentation. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a related role is required, with preference given to those with experience in CrowdStrike SIEM and EDR. Strong analytical skills are essential, enabling you to analyze and interpret security data to identify potential threats. Effective communication skills are also crucial, as you will be required to document incidents and collaborate with team members. Attention to detail is a must, ensuring that security alerts are accurately monitored and assessed. While not mandatory, certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar are preferred.
