Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Before surgery

Assess the patient's medical history and current health status.
Develop a customized anesthesia plan based on the patient's needs.
Consult with the surgical team to coordinate care.
Answer patient questions and prepare them for the procedure.

During surgery

Administer the planned anesthesia (general, regional, or local).
Continuously monitor the patient's vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing.
Adjust anesthesia levels and manage any medical complications that may arise.
Administer fluids and blood products as needed.

After surgery

Supervise patient recovery in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Ensure the patient's pain is managed effectively.
Monitor the effects of anesthesia and determine when the patient is ready for discharge from recovery.
Provide critical care in emergencies and manage both acute and chronic pain outside of the operating room.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: MBBS, MD(Anaes)/DNB(Anaes)/DA

Experience: 1-3yrs( Cardiac Anaesthesia Experience Mandatory)
