Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Monitoring of assigned AML alerts which are generated from AMLOCK on daily basis.
Closure of AML queries raised with in prescribed TAT.
Raising queries to branches regarding any suspicious activity observed in the account.
Follow-up with the branch and close the alert within the prescribed TAT, else take up for filing Suspicious Transaction Report (STR)
Preparation of AML case sheet for filing STR, covering FIU-IND requirements such as prescribed Grounds of Suspicious (GOS) in case of suspicious activity is identified and placing before Principal Officer for approval.
Downloading the XML file of STRs and undergo Data Quality Report (DQR) check and upload to FIU-IND.
Monitoring of accounts escalated by branches where suspicious activity is identified and shall consider for filing STR if required.
Monitoring of alerts prescribed by FIU-INDs alert message posted in FINNET portal.
Advising branches to conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for High Risk Accounts and for other accounts wherever required.
Quality checking of sample AML alerts discounted by other Transaction Monitoring official and submission of report/observation to Principal Officer periodically.
Monitoring of FCRA tagged accounts.
Investigation of AML alerts shared by NSDL through DEMAT Cell/ACC/Other offices.
Scrutinizing the accounts that are declared fraud by the bank and file STR if warranted.
Scrutinizing the LEA matching accounts and file STR if warranted.
Filing of regulatory reports in FIU-IND porta
