Get to know us at genpact.com and on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Facebook.Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - IT SourcingRole and ResponsibilitiesExperience in Procurement of goods and services, obtaining quotations, develops proposals and/or negotiates contracts of low to moderate value/risk consistent with client requirements.Good understanding and experience on RFP / RFX / RFQ is required to be managed via formal ERP / procurement tool based sourcing. Understanding of eAuction is mandatory.Understanding on upstream and downstream sourcing process, namely S2P and P2P process. Should have good know how on the IT related category (both hardware and software). Also, exposure to European market will be preferred.Manage Proactive engagements activity for operational planned spend opportunities within defined operational spend levelsManage transactional buying desk activities and support wider category management including raising purchase ordersQuotation analysis and recommendations, consideration suitability/reliability of suppliers to meet operational requirements and as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guidelinesObtain approval from Client Category Manager on finalized projectsSupport Drafting of Contract as Client and Senior Buyer instructions and as per SOP.Record Savings in the Client Savings Data BaseEngagement with operational teams to review pipeline and track savings opportunitiesWork closely with category managers and business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits and compliance to existing procurement contractsAssumes additional responsibilities as assigned with the procurement remit eg analysis / reporting etcDevelop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications.Education - Min graduate in any stream. Any Master degree would be preferred. Tech qualification would be preferred..Experience of operational sourcing (indirect) and tactical buying..Hands on experience on Zycus (for sourcing) and Coupa (for CLM) / or similar systems for procurement / CRM tools..Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word..US / UK sourcing experience will be preferred.Preferred Qualifications/ Skills.Excellent communication is key to this role - Both written and verbal..Look forward attitude with positive outlook.Should reflect great enthusiasm and positive attitude..Adopt to Globalized work culture and environment..Should be a great team player with high engagement level..Protects organization%27s value by keeping information confidential..Digital mindset - Must be able to adapt to multiple ERPs / tools in a high paced digital environment.
