  • Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Accounts

  • Department: Accounts

  • Location: Dahej, Vadodara - Gujarat

Job Profile:

  • Handling accounting operations of Pharma manufacturing unit located at Dahej.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, finalize accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, & reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual financial reports for management.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, & Income Tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations & support audits.
  • Responsible for Tax Compliance & audits.
  • Coordinate internal & statutory audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
  • Supervise & guide junior accountants.
  • Provide training on accounting processes & financial regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts & improve financial processes.
  • Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports for decision-making.
  • Work with in-house ERP systems to streamline accounting operations.

Desired Profile:

  • M.Com or CA Intermediate with minimum 10 yrs. of experience in accounting, with intermediate-level expertise with manufacturing industry preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Exposure with Pharmaceutical company would be added advantage.
  • Proven experience in handling accounting operations in a mid-sized organization, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with tax compliance and audits.
  • Candidate should have Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Must be adherence to compliance deadlines.
  • Candidate should have efficiency of team operations and ERP system utilization.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
