AM Communications - Writer

Role Overview: As the Assistant Manager - Communications at WWF-India, you will be an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team, collaborating with various departments within the organization. Your role will involve writing and editing content for print collaterals, creating engaging material for digital platforms, conducting thorough research on conservation topics, and producing visual and audio content during field trips. Key Responsibilities: - Write and edit stories/articles for print collaterals such as newsletters and annual reports - Develop content for digital communication channels like websites, social media, and emailers - Generate and pitch ideas for fresh and compelling content - Conduct scientific research on conservation topics and translate field reports into easily understandable content for external audiences - Travel to WWF-India field offices across India for on-field interviews - Create audio and visual content during field trips, ensuring storytelling effectiveness - Collaborate with various teams to oversee the production of strategic and compelling stories - Craft editorial calendars and repurpose stories across different platforms - Invite guest contributors like bloggers and experts to contribute content to the website Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Creative Writing, Journalism, or Communications - Minimum 4 years of experience in writing, storytelling, and content creation across print and digital platforms - Proficiency in content marketing, SEO, and social media - Familiarity with AV equipment for capturing stills, recording video stories, and facilitating podcasts - Knowledge of MS Office and Canva; Adobe Suite skills are a plus - Understanding of online platforms such as WordPress CMS, e-newsletter services, and social media platforms - Willingness to travel to field offices for stories and strong interviewing skills - Creative mindset, ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams ,
