Job description Location: Pune (Chakan) About the Role: Designation : PLC Programmer Experience/ Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, E &TC or a related field Experience Required: 2-5 Years Role & responsibilities: Develop and implement PLC programs to control and monitor packaging machinery and systems. Collaborate with the engineering team to design control system architecture and specify hardware requirements. Configure and program PLCs, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. Integrate and troubleshoot electrical components, sensors, and actuators within the packaging automation setup. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the packaging automation systems with other production processes. Provide technical support and guidance to production and maintenance teams in diagnosing and resolving PLC-related issues. Document system configurations, programming changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in PLC programming techniques. Preferred candidate profile: Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in the packaging automation industry or a similar domain. Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram). Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs from leading manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric). Experience with HMI and SCADA systems, as well as communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus). Familiarity with electrical control systems, motor control circuits, and industrial automation components.
