Key responsibilities include Appointment Management: Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments using specialized software to ensure efficient patient flow and reduce waiting times. Patient Communication: Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries, answering patient questions about services, procedures, and insurance, and directing calls to appropriate personnel when necessary. Patient Registration and Information Management: Guiding patients through the intake process, collecting and updating accurate patient demographic and insurance information into electronic health records (EHRs) or practice management systems, and maintaining confidentiality and security of patient data in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
