AlgoSec Network Security Engineer/ Security Consultant

As an AlgoSec Network Security Engineer/ Security Consultant, your role will involve assisting projects with firewall policy flows by identifying required rules for application flows, VPN/NAT connectivity requirements. You will also be responsible for designing firewall policies/rules when necessary and implementing firewall rule changes as per project requirements. Additionally, your responsibilities will include firewall rule revalidation, security control optimization, firewall rule housekeeping, and configuration review of IPS, IDS, antivirus, and antibot. You will also be involved in reviewing and approving patch and signature updates, infrastructure upgrades, and ensuring security control change compliance. Your participation and input to network security architecture will be crucial in this role. Qualifications required for this position include: - 10 years of firewall management experience - Certification in AlgoSec - Knowledge of Algosec, Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Splunk, FortiGate - Familiarity with firewall rulebase best practices, NAT, VPNs, IPS/IDS, Networking, TCP/IP - Security design/architecture knowledge - Experience in managing Netskope (desirable) - Familiarity with Cisco WSA (desirable) - CISSP or any other industry accredited certifications Your excellent communication skills and ability to participate in customer stand-up meetings will also be valuable in this role.
