Role: AIX Engineer
Location: Chennai, India
Experience: 6–10 years
What You’ll Do:
Install, configure & maintain IBM AIX on Power Systems
Manage LPARs, VIOS, NIM & HMC environments
Monitor system performance & ensure high availability
Handle patching, upgrades & security compliance
Troubleshoot incidents & provide L2/L3 support
Manage backups, recovery, and DR procedures
What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience with AIX 7.x administration
Knowledge of PowerVM, SAN storage concepts & automation scripting (Shell/Korn)
Hands-on experience with HMC operations
Exposure to TSM / Veritas backup tools
