Job Purpose The incumbent is Adani Airports Airside Planning & Design expert, with hands-on expertise in Airside Master Planning and design management from concept design till as-built stages of the project phase. To lead the airside projects for respective airport in alignment to the Master Plan phasing and Operational requirements. Functional Competencies Overall years of experience shall be 15 years; minimum 10 recent years in Airports & rest in large scale infrastructure projects Experience in airside design management with an Airport Operator / as Airport Operators representative is a must to have Must possess Greenfield as well as Brownfield project development experience in Airports Hands on experience and understanding of airfield planning and design, in line to all the respective standards, codes and good practices Extensive understanding of the market economics and key drivers of Airside Planning and Development, including the ability to interact with a range of airside stakeholders Understanding and experience of recognized software used in airside planning and design Proven track record in coordinating, managing, and delivering technically excellent studies and projects on time Hands-on experience in leading and managing a team, preferably for an airport. Capable of managing the planning and design of a Project independently Understanding of respective airport airside projects contractual and commercial requirements Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills Adaptation to Adanis growing Airport’s business portfolio & its dynamics Conversant with applicable airside local & international standards, codes and good practices Should be familiar with application of design software’s like AVIAPLAN, AutoCAD, Revit etc. Key Accountabilities Responsible for airside planning and design delivery for the Airport Planning & design management of airside projects from concept till as-built project stages Provide design/technical leadership to resolve all the airside design issues Responsible for internal / external stakeholder approvals as necessary and mandatory for respective airside aspects Responsible for supporting approval coordination from statutory organizations in coordination with the internal / external stakeholders as deemed necessary Ensure planning & design submitted by consultant(s) / contractor (s) meets all requirements (Drawings, Reports, Specifications and BOQ) Lead and ensure airside planning & design meets functional and operational requirements Prepare presentations, working papers, and reports etc. for management review and external stakeholder requirements Review & Comment on consultant’s/contractor’s documents and drawings in coordination with Engineering team & design specifications Responsible for management of Consultants/Contractors to extract the technical and operationally feasible planning & design in line with all applicable standards, codes and good practices Build and sustain stakeholder relationships, act as the primary airside planning & design interface, and a wide range of consultants and collaborators Construction support as deemed appropriate Support other departments like Procurement and Contracts, Legal etc. in all Project related matters Conduct regular meetings with consultants to ensure airside planning & design is delivered on time, meeting all expected requirements Report all activities to the reporting manager to ensure transparency in working Organize, lead and manage the weekly meeting with the Central Master Planning team and Leadership to convey the project progress Provide guidance and leadership to junior members of the team Competencies SI No. Competencies Proficiency Level (1-4) Adani Behavioral Competencies Strategic Orientation A.
