Your key responsibilities include developing micro-simulation models for aircraft taxiing, pushback, towing, and stand operations. You will analyze ground movement flows, delays, stand occupancy, and runway usage. Assessing layout efficiency, conflict points, and turnaround operations is also part of your role. Additionally, you will interpret and analyze flight schedules to model realistic aircraft movements. Coordination with airside planners, layout designers, and operational teams is crucial, as well as delivering technical outputs, visualizations, and scenario assessments. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in transport or airport simulation focusing on aircraft ground movements. Proficiency in tools like AirTop, CAST, or similar aircraft simulation software is required. A strong grasp of aircraft operations, stand allocation, and apron procedures is essential. You must be capable of working with flight schedules, stands, and gate assignment logic, as well as possessing experience in runway assignment and runway capacity. Skills in interpreting airport layout drawings and integrating them into simulation models are also necessary.
