Role Overview: As an Engineering Team Lead at Cathay Pacific, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of Aircraft Technicians / Aircraft Mechanics to ensure the safe and reliable operation of Cathay Group aircraft. Your role will involve strict oversight of operational functions, compliance with regulations, and managing third party suppliers to deliver exceptional service and maintain high safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and certify routine and non-routine maintenance for Cathay Group aircraft as per HKAR-145 and company requirements - Supervise and certify routine and non-routine maintenance for third party customer aircraft in compliance with national authority and customer requirements - Perform operational relief duties and oversee third party supplier performance to address any operational issues promptly - Execute contingency plans and support ad hoc operational requirements such as diversions and major disruption recovery - Ensure availability, serviceability, and cleanliness of station ground equipment, vehicles, and facilities - Coordinate audits, station administration, and compliance with local Occupational Health & Safety standards - Manage staff rosters and leave plans for operational efficiency and productivity - Lead and support team members to achieve success, foster positive team spirit, and facilitate teamwork - Provide technical and management training to enable employees to perform their functions effectively - Engage with employees to enhance communication and understanding of department goals - Fulfill Emergency, Accident, and Crisis Response responsibilities as required Qualification Required: - EASA/HKCAD B1.1 License with type rating on Airbus 330, Airbus 350, and Boeing 777 aircrafts - Minimum of 2 current aircraft type authorizations, preferably on types operated by Cathay and level 3 trained - Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance environment - Strong operational knowledge of aircraft maintenance and ground handling activities - Good knowledge of EASA/Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department airworthiness regulations - Good communication skills - Valid Indian 4 wheeler driving license for more than 3 years - Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in India Additional Company Details: Cathay Pacific is a leading premium travel lifestyle brand based in Hong Kong.
