Aircraft Design Engineer- Structure

You are a Structural Aircraft Design Engineer with expertise in designing and developing aircraft structures, creating manufacturing manuals, and supporting aircraft prototyping. Your role involves ensuring structural components meet safety and performance standards, optimizing designs for weight and cost, and collaborating with teams for prototyping and testing. You will work with carbon composites, focusing on manufacturing integration and processes, and communicate progress and solutions effectively. Staying updated with aerospace trends and enhancing design efficiency are key aspects of your responsibilities. Your qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in structural design engineering for aircraft. Proficiency in CAD software, FEA tools, and knowledge of aircraft certification processes is required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role. Experience with aircraft structural testing, prototyping processes, and working with suppliers is preferred.
