AI/ML Model Validation Analyst

Role Overview: You will be assigned to the AI/ML Validation unit in Mumbai, focusing on developing and maintaining a central modeling and validation service covering all AI/ML Models. Your role will involve reviewing and analyzing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models applied across various business use cases in banks. You will communicate outcomes of your review and analysis with key model stakeholders and actively engage in the due diligence aspects of the new model approval process and Bank-wide strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will work on developing validation methods and automation where possible. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models in banks - Verify models for conceptual soundness, propriety of implementation, and assess assumptions, limitations, and weaknesses - Communicate outcomes with key stakeholders - Engage in due diligence aspects of new model approval process and strategic initiatives - Develop validation methods and automation Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 months - 2 years of experience in the relevant field - Graduate / Masters level education in numerate subjects like Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics, or Engineering - Some experience in model validation or development roles, preferably in the AI/ML space - Excellent mathematical and statistical abilities with understanding of platforms like GCP, AWS, AZURE - Experience in evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs) is an added advantage - Knowledge of Banking and Financial Industry is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to author structured and concise validation reports - Fluent in English Additional Details: The Risk division of Deutsche Bank plays a critical role in managing various risks, with Model Risk Management (MoRM) actively managing model risk globally.
