AI/ML Lead

The responsibilities of this role include architecting, coding, debugging, and deploying applications across web, mobile, and AI-driven platforms. You will be responsible for shipping features that bring digital construction to life. Additionally, you will be involved in prototyping, implementing, and iterating on various smart tools such as AI copilots, data extraction engines, predictive models, bots, and recommendations that are utilized by on-site and off-site teams. As a mentor, you will lead by example, reviewing pull requests, brainstorming, pair-programming, and assisting fellow developers in their skill development. Problem-solving efficiently is crucial, as you will be required to tackle complex challenges in construction and manufacturing, developing proof-of-concepts using languages like Python, Node.js, React, and more. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with founders, designers, engineers, and individuals on the shop floor, translating ideas between different domains. Staying innovative is encouraged, with a focus on integrating new tools and technologies ranging from Autodesk to AWS and cutting-edge AI APIs like GPT. The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven track record of shipping web, mobile, and AI-powered applications using technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, Java, with a bonus for experience in ML or IoT integration. Strong engineering skills in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, scalable architecture, debugging, and system design are essential. Experience with RESTful APIs, database design (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desired. A passion for hacking prototypes, whether with code or AI playgrounds, is a valuable asset.
