AI/ML Engineer

As an AI/ML Engineer at Mirador AI Technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML models for real-time computer vision applications. Your expertise in Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Neural Networks will be utilized to build advanced vision systems integrating Vision AI and Generative AI/LLM capabilities. You will work on innovative applications including Facial Recognition, Video Analytics, Traffic Intelligence, and Vision-Language AI features. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models for real-time computer vision applications. - Build algorithms for facial recognition, object detection & tracking, people counting, activity recognition, and video analytics pipelines. - Implement and fine-tune SLMs/LLMs for vision-language systems, prompt engineering, and model integration. - Develop Python-based production AI modules using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc. - Collaborate with software & product teams to integrate AI modules into live systems. - Stay updated on advancements in Vision AI, Generative AI, Transformer models, and multimodal AI. - Optimize models for edge devices and server deployments. **Required Skills & Expertise:** - 4-5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering. - Strong expertise in Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition. - Proficient in Python, OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn. - Experience with SLMs, LLMs, Vision-Language models, and model fine-tuning. - Strong foundation in Statistics, Data Analysis, and predictive modeling. - Additional skills in software engineering, Docker, REST APIs, or microservices are beneficial. **Eligibility Requirements:** - Must be located within commutable distance to Chennai (Tamil Nadu). - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent. **Preferred Experience:** - Vision-based AI solutions for Facial Recognition, Video Analytics, Surveillance, or Traffic Intelligence. - Exposure to edge AI, GPU-based acceleration, and model optimization. - Experience integrating LLMs/SLMs into real-world applications.
