AI/ML Engineer (Core FastAPI Development)

As a Generative AI Engineer with expertise in FastAPI development, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and deploying scalable backend systems for next-generation generative AI applications. Your collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams will ensure the delivery of innovative AI-driven solutions at scale. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python and FastAPI. - Build and expose secure, scalable RESTful APIs for AI-powered services. - Implement prompt engineering, RAG, and embedding techniques to enhance model performance. - Integrate and manage vector databases like Pinecone and ChromaDB for efficient AI data retrieval. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and deploy AI solutions. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model and API deployment. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend & AI systems for performance and scalability. - Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and backend technologies. - Document APIs, workflows, and system architecture for knowledge sharing. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of backend development experience with Python & FastAPI. - Proven experience in deploying Generative AI models like LLMs, GANs, VAEs in production. - Strong understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG pipelines. - Experience integrating AI models with RESTful APIs, including authentication & authorization. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. - Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB. - Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for large-scale AI deployments. - Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
