AI Voice Agent Engineer

As a member of our team, you will be involved in designing and implementing next-generation AI Voice Agents for recruiters. Your role will focus on building real-time, low-latency conversational systems that incorporate LLMs, STT, TTS, RAG, and streaming pipelines. The backend infrastructure is developed in Python, while the frontend utilizes React/Node.js technologies. If you have experience in creating real-time voice systems that can effectively manage human interruptions and dynamic context, this position is ideal for you. Key Responsibilities: - Build and enhance real-time AI Voice Agents using Python. - Integrate TTS (e.g., ElevenLabs) and STT (e.g., Deepgram) systems to facilitate natural and fast voice interactions. - Implement LLM integration with a focus on reducing latency and handling interruptions effectively. - Develop caching layers for prompts and audio streams to minimize costs and delays. - Design and manage SIP, WebRTC, and WebSocket pipelines for efficient call handling. - Detect automatic answering machines (AMD) and implement dynamic call routing strategies. - Collaborate with React/Node.js frontend teams to ensure seamless end-to-end real-time communication. Required Skills: - Strong backend development experience in Python. - Proven working experience with Real-Time AI Voice Systems is mandatory. - In-depth understanding of LLM Integration, including latency, interruption handling, and RAG pipelines. - Hands-on experience with Networking Protocols such as SIP, WebRTC, and WebSockets. - Working knowledge of React and Node.js for effective frontend collaboration. Preferred Skills: - Experience with leading TTS/STT APIs like ElevenLabs, Deepgram, or similar. - Knowledge of audio stream caching, buffering, and GPU optimization. - Familiarity with VoIP platforms like FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, or similar systems. - Background in automatic machine detection and call classification.
