Oracle Application Labs (OAL) is pioneering AI-native testing for Oracle Cloud enterprise applications. We're seeking a senior automation engineer with Playwright expertise to architect intelligent test frameworks that leverage GenAI agents, self-healing locators, and predictive analyticsdelivering autonomous quality at enterprise scale for Fusion Applications (Quote to Cash, Fusion SaaS Applications).
Responsibilities
Architect AI-Native Frameworks: Design & implement scalable test automation using Python + Playwright integrated with GenAI agents (MCP orchestration) for intelligent test generation, execution, & maintenanceBuild Self-Healing Automation: Develop AI-driven locator healing using LLM APIs, embeddings, & Model Context Protocol (MCP) to automatically adapt tests to UI changesAI-Powered Test Generation: Engineer prompt-based workflows to auto-generate comprehensive test cases from requirements, user stories, API specs, & visual mocksIntelligent Test Optimization: Implement ML models for test prioritization, flakiness prediction, execution optimization, & risk-based regression across E2E, API, & component testingMulti-Browser Automation: Leverage Playwright's cross-browser capabilities (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit) for robust web application testing with auto-waiting & reliable selectorsCloud-Native Deployment: Containerize AI test models with OCI Functions/OKE, build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, & achieve Hybrid Test Orchestration: Integrate REST APIs, SQL validation, & Playwright with AI agents for full-stack functional, API, & data layer testingPerformance & Observability: Optimize Playwright test execution for cloud-scale apps, implement test analytics with Elasticsearch, & drive zero-maintenance automationInnovation Leadership: Collaborate with Dev, QA, & AI teams to pioneer AI testing practices, contribute to internal tools, & publish research on intelligent automation
