AI ML Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our team and drive the development of an AI-powered, voice-first product. The ideal candidate will combine strong machine learning expertise with hands-on experience in building and integrating voice, speech, and natural language technologies using both open-source and commercial AI tools.

This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, product-driven environments, can work collaboratively across teams, and has the creativity to harness the latest AI advancements to deliver cutting-edge user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Voice AI Development

  : Build, train, and fine-tune models for speech-to-text (ASR), text-to-speech (TTS), speaker recognition, and conversational AI.

• System Architecture:

  Design and implement end-to-end AI pipelines covering model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Tooling & Integration:

  Leverage both open-source (Whisper, Hugging Face, VLLM, etc.) and commercial APIs (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, etc.) to accelerate development.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to bring AI-driven voice experiences into production at scale.

• Experimentation & Innovation:

  Continuously research and evaluate state-of-the-art models, frameworks, and tools to maintain a competitive edge.

• Deployment:

  Own deployment workflows in cloud and containerized environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

• MLOps:

  Build workflows for continuous training, monitoring, and improvement of deployed AI systems.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• 36 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on speech or NLP applications.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (Django, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of deep learning architectures (transformers, RNNs, CNNs) and optimization techniques.
• Experience in deploying models in cloud and containerized environments (Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with speech-to-text (ASR), text-to-speech (TTS), or voice biometrics.
• Familiarity with LLMs and conversational AI frameworks.
• Frontend and backend development exposure (React, Python, etc.) to collaborate closely with product teams.
• Experience with databases (SQL, vector databases, PostgreSQL).
• Startup or fast-paced product-building experience.
