Job Description

As a Senior Associate Software Development Engineer at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the designing, developing, and testing of software systems, modules, or applications for software enhancements and new products. Your responsibilities will include receiving instructions to design and develop solutions that drive business growth, contributing to writing and testing code, supporting automated testing, participating in software deployment, collaborating with the product team for software delivery, integrating solutions through automation and coding, and crafting, building, and debugging large scale distributed systems. Additionally, you will be involved in writing, updating, and maintaining technical program documentation, end-user documentation, and operational procedures, as well as refactoring code and reviewing code written by other developers. Your role will also require you to develop an understanding of cloud architecture and services in multiple public clouds, programming languages, data structures, algorithms, software design, microservices-based software architecture, API product development, SQL and no-SQL data stores, container runtimes, agile and lean practices, test-driven development, CI/CD concepts and tools, and cloud-based infrastructure and deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop solutions that drive business growth - Write and test code - Support automated testing - Participate in software deployment - Collaborate with the product team for software delivery - Integrate solutions through automation and coding - Craft, build, and debug large scale distributed systems - Write, update, and maintain technical program documentation, end-user documentation, and operational procedures - Refactor code - Review code written by other developers - Perform any other related tasks as required Knowledge and Attributes: - Understanding of cloud architecture and services in multiple public clouds - Expertise in programming languages and frameworks - Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design - Experience with microservices-based software architecture and API product development - Proficiency in SQL and no-SQL data stores - Understanding of container runtimes - Proficiency in agile, lean practices, and test-driven development - Can-do attitude and initiative-taking - Ability to work well in a diverse team - Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment - Proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tools - Proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure and deployments - Attention to detail Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals preferred - Relevant agile certifications preferred Required Experience: - Moderate level experience working with geo-distributed teams - Moderate level experience with tools across the full software delivery lifecycle - Moderate level experience in Agile and Lean methodologies, Continuous Delivery / DevOps, Analytics / data-driven processes - Familiarity with working with large data sets and applying ML/AI algorithms - Moderate level experience in developing microservices and RESTful APIs - Moderate level experience in software development Workplace type: Hybrid Working NTT DATA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.,
