Role: Vice President of Sales / Platform Owner (Data Science) Agumbe.ai is well placed in the rapidly growing integrated development platform and platform engineering space. Our platform addresses the full lifecycle of machine learning and AI projects covering onboarding, data engineering, data contracts, development, build, rollout of machine learning models, and hybrid-cloud orchestration. The Agumbe platform brings business functions like Data Science, Developers, Architects and Business Users together via a single platform. We're looking for a Senior Consultant who brings deep empathy for customer needs and a strategic mindset for platform growth. You’ll be part customer champion , part sales strategist , and part platform enabler - bringing technical understanding and consultative flair to drive adoption and success. You’ll work closely with the founder, sales, engineering, and marketing teams, and be the voice of our enterprise users and strategic accounts . What You'll Do Platform Ownership (Data Science + AI/ML) Champion the Data Science experience inside Agumbe - workflows, feedback, and feature ownership. Co-design user journeys for ML workflows, experiment tracking, and deployment pipelines. Collaborate with engineers to shape architecture, integrations, and user-centric solutions. Contribute to our blog and collateral - demystifying platform use cases for AI/ML teams. Keep a pulse on the ML platform space - benchmark against competitors and synthesize insights. Customer Success and Business Development Lead onboarding and engagement of strategic users and design partners. Identify new use cases and value creation opportunities across data science and DevOps teams. Conduct discovery sessions, demos, and technical consultations - convert interest into success. Track customer journey, pain points, and adoption metrics; feed this back into product strategy. Build and refine our Sales Playbook , outbound GTM approach, and lead qualification process. Collaborate on marketing, pitch decks, and customized proposals tailored to ICP personas. Own and support strategic negotiations, pricing discussions, and partnership modeling. Grow the GTM team - mentor junior AEs, interns, and future sales hires.
