Agent Orchestration Engineer & Specialist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing multi-agent architectures that support planning, tool use, memory, and human-in-the-loop controls. Your role will involve implementing robust, stateful workflows that drive business value at Linde. Key Responsibilities: - Design multi-agent architectures to support planning, tool use, memory, and human-in-the-loop controls, ensuring resilience, retries, and auditability - Develop, maintain, and benchmark the Agentic AI Playbook for the organization, focusing on best practices, design patterns, and enablement - Engineer interoperability using open patterns for agent-to-agent and MCP coordination to enable shared context and state without locking into any single vendor stack - Instrument tracing, monitor cost and latency, and conduct automated evaluations to ensure observability and quality - Drive continuous improvements based on telemetry and real-world runs - Establish a consistent governance framework in collaboration with Risk, Legal, and IT to ensure transparency, oversight, and promote AI literacy - Implement solutions aligned with security-by-design and human-in-the-loop principles - Document patterns and reference blueprints, and support mentoring of engineers and product teams for scaling adoption across domains Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent fields; a master's degree is a plus - Proven experience in building production AI agents (single or multi-agent) with planning, tool use, memory, and delegation - Experience in software engineering with Python and/or TypeScript - Hands-on experience orchestrating graphs/state machines for agents and implementing durable execution patterns - Proficiency in LLMOps/AgentOps for tracing, evaluating, version control, cost/performance tuning using modern observability tools - Understanding of AI governance basics relevant to current regulations - Collaborative work in a distributed team environment and independent working methods - Strong business orientation and focus on value delivery Additional Company Details: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company operating in more than 100 countries worldwide.
