Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are a plus. ● Proven experience working as a VOIP Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role. ● Strong understanding of VOIP technologies and protocols, such as SIP, RTP, H.323, and TCP/IP. ● Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VOIP platforms, such as , Asterisk, or Freeswitch ● In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN. ● Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios. ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances. ● Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. ● Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ● Strong documentation and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience with cloud-based VOIP solutions, such as Amazon Connect, Twilio, or RingCentral. ● Knowledge of session border controllers (SBCs) and their role in VOIP deployments. ● Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Shell, for automation and customization purposes. ● Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
