We are hiring for the position of Deputy Manager R&D. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and release of film capacitors/materials, ensuring technical support to production and quality teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform design calculations, simulations, and product development based on design guidelines. Create models and drawings using SolidEdge and/or Creo. Maintain and update design documentation and BOMs. Lead production support and product launches, ensuring quality and timeliness. Co-ordinate with production, quality, process engineering, customer service, and others. Execute cost-reduction and defect-free product initiatives. Approve and characterize new materials; resolve raw material quality issues. Handle change management processes and adhere to APQP, FMEA, DVP&R. Support customer requirements including specifications, PPAPs, and test documentation. Support and coordinate external lab testing and sample approvals. Actively contribute to TPM and infrastructure improvements in the testing lab. Handle technical documentation for audits (IATF, UL, BIS, VDE, CQC). Skills & Knowledge: Knowledge of film capacitors, design methodologies (APQP, stage-gate), and material sciences (epoxy, BOPP, plastics, metals). Familiarity with testing, flammability, and capacitor standards (IEC, AEC-Q200, IATF 16949). Proficiency in design and simulation software: Solid Edge, Creo, ANSYS. Understanding of RoHS, REACH, and other regulatory requirements. SAP end-user experience; MS Office proficiency. Strong project viability, risk assessment, and failure analysis skills. Ability to work in cross-functional, international teams (China, Europe, USA). Strong communication, initiative-taking, and team-oriented mindset.
