Advocate

Role Description:

Seeking a qualified advocate to represent the client (intervener) in a 3-day Financial Settlement hearing

Responsibilities:

• Attend the full 3-day hearing in Nellore( Nellore is 3 hours by car or train from chennai)
• Communicate with the UK legal team and assist the client throughout the process
• Ensure smooth technical setup and connection for remote participation (via Microsoft Teams)
• Provide legal guidance, interpretation, and reassurance to the client during proceedings

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled with the

  Bar Council of India

• Strong command o

  f English and ability to speak and understand Telugu

• Prior experience in

  family law / financial settlement matters

  preferred
• Familiarity with

  courtroom procedures

  and client handling
• Must have access to a

  laptop

  and be comfortable with

  video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams)

• Ability to travel to Nellore

  and be present for 3 consecutive days in early November
• Calm, professional demeanour with good listening and communication skills
