Advertising Copywriter

As a creative scriptwriter at Oberoi IBC, you will support senior creatives in conceptualizing and scripting ad films such as TVCs and digital films. Your responsibilities include writing catchy mainlines, dialogues, and film scripts that resonate with both the brand and the audience. Collaboration with art directors, creative directors, and producers is essential to build strong concepts. You will need to research the brand, audience, and celebrity personality to deliver relevant and on-tone messaging. Working on campaign ideas, not just standalone films, ensuring consistency across various touchpoints is a key aspect of the role. Participation in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and being open to feedback for script iterations as needed are also part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 13 years of experience in a creative agency or production company. A portfolio or showreel showcasing ad films you've worked on, especially those with Bollywood celebrity collaborations or well-known Indian brands, is required. Strong writing skills in English and/or Hindi, depending on project needs, are essential. An understanding of storytelling for mass audiences, particularly in the Indian context, is crucial. Awareness of pop culture, film language, and brand tonality is also necessary. A passion for films, advertising, and thriving in high-energy collaborative environments is highly valued. Experience working under a senior copywriter or film director, contributions to integrated brand campaigns encompassing TV, digital, and social media, as well as any awards, internships, or notable collaborations you have been a part of will be considered as bonus points for this role.,
