Your work will contribute to making mobility safer, greener, and more connected, shaping the future of mobility with us. **Role Overview:** - Automotive software development for DMS/CMS platforms involving Camera and IVI systems - ADAS software Architecture, design & development for SoCs like Qualcomm, TI - Mapping, layering, and interfacing of active safety and IVI components onto target hardware - Developing SW architecture to meet functional safety, cybersecurity, and other automotive standards - Designing and developing the ADAS/UX/DMS software to meet the derived software requirements - Collaborating with cross-software & products architects to ensure compatibility - Supporting the software architecture for vehicle prototypes to integrate different algorithms - Modeling architectures in UML to ensure traceability with the system architecture and code - Integrating software algorithms provided by other teams **Key Responsibilities:** - Essential Experience on Embedded Software Architecture, development for Autonomous driving Platforms - Extensive experience in any POSIX OS (VxWorks, Linux, and QNX) - Embedded C and C++ programming - Multi-core Microprocessor and SoC experience (TI TDA4x, Qualcomm, Infineon Tri core) - Experience on SoC board bring up for RTOS platforms - Device drivers development CAN / CAN FD communication, SPI, MCAL - Hands-on experience on Ethernet and Diagnostics (UDS) - Service-oriented software architectures (SOME/IP) - Extensive understanding of Middleware Framework - Work on Virtualization and Docker containers - Experience with GPU Desirable ADAS/UX domain knowledge - Cybersecurity experience - Knowledge on software modeling, Agile/Scrum principles, ISO26262 - Technical Safety Concepts - Excellent communication / presentation skills - Embedded development tools (compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, serial data tools, etc.) - Embedded microprocessor experience (operating systems, I/O drivers, communication drivers, etc.) **Qualifications Required:** - A graduate in BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech (Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation, Robotics) with 5+ years of Software development work experience - A go-getter, good in communication, challenge ideas to achieve career aspirations aligned with Aptiv mission - A Learning Enthusiast passionate about learning, following trends and publications in the market outlining new solutions - Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience At Aptiv, you can grow in an inclusive work environment, have a significant impact on creating a safer world with zero fatalities, injuries, and accidents, and receive support for your family and health needs.
