Advanced Data Engineer

Role Overview: As a Data Engineer Carrier Level T3(B) at HARMAN Technology Services (HTS), you will be responsible for developing and implementing data engineering projects, including enterprise data hub or Big data platform. Your role involves creating data pipelines for efficient data science projects, designing and implementing data architecture solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to identify data requirements, and ensuring data integration, transformation, and loading across different platforms and systems. Additionally, you will develop and maintain data governance policies, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and work with various data technologies to support data analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Create data pipelines for efficient and repeatable data science projects - Design and implement data architecture solutions to meet organizational needs - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and develop data models - Ensure data integration, transformation, and loading across platforms and systems - Develop and implement data governance policies for secure and efficient data management - Maintain a deep understanding of data platforms, evaluate new technologies, and improve data management processes - Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards for data management and security - Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts - Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources - Utilize ETL and data integration tools such as Informatica, Qlik Talend, and Apache NiFi - Work with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform - Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala - Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView - Understanding of analytics and machine learning concepts and tools - Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud-based databases - Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, snowflake, databricks, and Kafka - Strong data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration skills Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in the information technology industry with a focus on Data engineering and architecture - 4+ years of data engineering/ETL experience in advanced data projects - Masters or bachelors degree in computer science, data science, or related field - Experience in creating data and analytics solutions - Knowledge of data trends including data fabric and data mesh - Ability to guide a team of data engineers and oversee the deployment of Data solutions - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders - Familiarity with Azure Purview, Azure Data fabric, and defining reference data architecture - Experience in building solutions with Data solutions in various domains such as Industrial, Healthcare, Retail, Communication Please note that the benefits offered include opportunities for professional growth and development, access to employee discounts on HARMAN/Samsung products, and an inclusive work environment that encourages personal and professional development.,
