Admission Counsellor (USA)

Job Summary:

At GS Global Academy, we help students achieve their dream of studying abroad. From choosing the right university to securing visas and preparing for life in the US, we guide students at every step. We are now looking for a USA Admission Counsellor to join our team in Pune.

How You’ll Support Students:

• Counsel students and parents about study opportunities in the USA – courses, universities, scholarships, and career options.
• Guide students through applications – Common App, direct applications, SOPs, essays, recommendation letters, and transcripts.
• Support students with the visa process – I-20, DS-160, SEVIS registration, documentation, and interview preparation.
• Track admission deadlines, intakes, and scholarship opportunities for US universities.
• Prepare students for their move abroad with pre-departure sessions (culture, accommodation, health insurance, travel).
• Stay connected with students after they leave for the US, offering support during their initial transition.
• Use CRM platforms to manage student cases and follow-ups.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and webinars to promote US study opportunities.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Minimum 2–6 years of experience counselling students for study in the USA (required).
• Strong knowledge of US universities, admission processes, intakes, and scholarships.
• Hands-on experience with the US student visa process (F1, SEVIS, DS-160, I-20, interviews).
• Excellent communication skills – spoken and written English.
• Ability to guide students with SOPs and essays in clear, simple language.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple student applications.
• Familiar with CRM tools.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
