Admin Assistant - Overseas Education

Location: Nadakkavu, Calicut
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Work hours may vary based on work completion)
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Preference: Nearby candidates

Job Overview:

We are looking for a responsible and highly organized Admin Assistant to join our Overseas Education Consultancy team. This role involves a variety of administrative and operational tasks, including basic accounting duties, answering phone calls, handling client walk-ins, and maintaining office operations. Strong communication skills and a willingness to work flexible hours are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Administrative Duties:

  • Handle basic accounting tasks, such as maintaining records, handling petty cash book,vouchers ..etc
  • Manage company emails and correspondence promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain company assets, ensuring that repairs or updates are promptly reported.
  • Supervise and coordinate office maintenance and interior work.
  • Visit banks or official offices for company-related tasks.
  • Answer phone calls and assist clients with inquiries.
  • Greet and assist clients who walk into the office, providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist in preparing reports and performing various administrative tasks.

Supervision & Coordination:

  • Supervise office staff and ensure proper workflow.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for office needs.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Must possess a valid two-wheeler and driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills are mandatory, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle basic accounting tasks and office maintenance.
  • Flexible to work beyond regular hours when required.
  • Ability to handle client interactions professionally and efficiently.
  • Experienced candidates and Freshers with a willingness to learn and grow are encouraged to apply.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in operational or administrative roles, especially in the overseas education consultancy field.
  • Candidates residing near Nadakkavu, Calicut will be given preference.

Work Environment:

  • The role is based at our office in Nadakkavu, Calicut.
  • Working hours are typically from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but flexibility is required based on workload. Extended hours may be needed on some days.
  • Salary will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
