Actuarial Analyst

Role Overview: You will be working as an Actuarial Analyst to Lead Actuarial Associate levels in a rapidly growing global team of over 100 risk consultants. Your main responsibility will be to provide actuarial model-based insurance optimization and captive optimization advice to corporate clients worldwide. You should be eager to enhance your actuarial modeling capabilities, possess innovation and problem-solving skills to develop customized and complex models for clients. Key Responsibilities: - P&C Pricing and Optimization: - Construct actuarial loss forecast models for corporations globally. - Provide strategic recommendations based on model results to help clients manage risks effectively. - Capital Modeling and Solvency II: - Evaluate the profitability and financial strength of captive insurers. - Contribute to Actuarial Function of Captive Insurers by reviewing SCR and TPs periodically. - Assist in developing assumptions for a robust risk management framework. - Support compliance with regulations and timely completion of regulatory returns across various domiciles. - P&C Reserving: - Collaborate with colleagues to produce actuarial reserving analysis for corporate and captive insurance clients. - Write client deliverables/reports in a clear and concise style. - Ad-Hoc Projects: - Assist with bespoke modeling, development of modeling tools, client pitches, RfPs, prospect and market research, and ERM projects. Qualifications Required: - Highly numerate with a recognized degree. - English proficiency at a native speaker level, Spanish proficiency is a bonus. - Commitment to pursuing actuarial qualifications. - Excellent MS Office skills. - Proficiency in one of R/R Shiny, Python, Power BI, RADAR, Igloo, or ResQ. - Strong communication skills. - Team player willing to deliver high-quality services to clients on time. - Ready to travel.
