What will your essential responsibilities include Leading ALM India HUB including managing and mentoring a team member. Understanding internal SAA tool and specific AXA entity SAA model including business nuances and ALM specifics of the entity. Performing SAA Model run and recommending entity SAA proposal. Developing and improving methodology and application of AI/ML for enhancing the SAA model. Improving documentation and controls for overall process along with process automation of SAA model. Understanding local capital regulatory model and contributing to Asset Liability Management. Presenting and engaging with other ALM colleagues including senior management, CIOs, etc. Coordination and collaboration within AXA XL and other AXA entities. We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Management/Finance/Technology) from a top-tier university (preferably IIM/IIT). CFA/FRM or actively pursuing CFA/FRM designation. Relevant years of work experience in investment management or capital markets. Prior knowledge/working experience on ALM and/or market risk would be preferable. Knowledge of statistical analysis, financial math, economics, and machine learning. Basic programming in Python/MATLAB/R. Proficiency in Excel/VBA. Desired Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to work self-directedly and collaborate with other teams within the AXA XL Division and AXA Group Investment and Finance teams. Outcome-focused, self-motivated to achieve desired results, flexible, and enthusiastic. Roles & Responsibilities P&C Pricing and Optimisation Help clients to optimise their insurance strategy by ensuring that the price they pay is optimum for the level of risk being transferred. Construct forward looking actuarial loss forecast models for corporations across all geographies and industries. Produce strategic recommendations based on model results to help clients manage their risks more effectively. Capital Modelling and Solvency II Providing an objective view of the profitability and financial strength of captive insurers. Actively contribute to the Actuarial Function of these Captive Insurers and review their Solvency Capital Requirements (SCR) and Technical Provision (TPs), periodically. Assist in developing assumptions, and challenging them where required, to ensure a robust risk management framework.
