Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Export Bill Regularization:

    • Ensure timely submission and follow-up of export bills for regularization with authorized banks.
    • Monitor and track export proceeds realization and reconcile export accounts.
    • Coordinate with banks and regulatory authorities to resolve discrepancies in export documentation.
  • Import Documentation & Compliance:

    • Prepare and verify import documentation, including Bill of Entry, LC (Letter of Credit), and other import-related records.
    • Ensure adherence to customs and foreign trade regulations for import transactions.
    • Coordinate with logistics and customs brokers for timely clearance of imported goods.
  • Accounts Management:

    • Record and maintain export and import transactions in accounting systems.
    • Ensure accurate posting of journal entries related to foreign trade and currency exchange.
    • Reconcile bank statements, export-import ledgers, and financial records.
  • Compliance & Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with GST, and other applicable laws regarding export-import activities.
    • Prepare financial reports related to export-import operations for management review.
    • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation related to export and import accounts.
  • Coordination & Communication:

    • Liaise with internal departments, banks, and external agencies for seamless execution of export-import processes.
    • Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders regarding
    • financial and documentation matters.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in export-import accounting and documentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of export bill regularization processes, import documentation, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Letter of Credit (LC) handling and bank coordination.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange regulations
  • Familiarity with GST compliance and reporting for export-import transactions.
