Job Description

As an Accounts Assistant with 3 to 4 years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting the finance department in handling day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records. Your expertise in accounting software like QuickBooks and Zoho Books will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks and Zoho Books. - Reconcile bank statements and supplier statements monthly. - Assist with preparation of VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations. - Support month-end and year-end closing processes. - Prepare and process invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders. - Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding account queries. - Support the finance team in audits and financial reporting. - Ensure compliance with company policies and UK accounting standards. - Generate financial reports and assist in budget tracking. - Maintain accurate filing of accounting documents, both physical and electronic.
