Accounts Assistant

As an experienced Accountant, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - **Accounting Operations:** - Creation and maintenance of ledgers - Monthly closing of books - **GST Compliance:** - Creation of GST invoices - Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 - Reconciliation of input tax credit - **TDS Handling:** - Filing quarterly TDS returns - Issuance of Form 16/16A - **Inventory & Stock Management:** - Entries and adjustments in Marg software - Reconciliation of physical vs software stock - Generation of purchase and sales reports - **Bank & Cash Reconciliation:** - Daily bank reconciliation in Marg - Handling and reconciliation of petty cash - **MIS & Reporting:** - Preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow reports - Customized financial reports using Marg ERP - **Audits & Compliance:** - Coordinating with auditors for internal and statutory audit - Documentation and record-keeping - **Team Coordination:** - Coordination with purchase, sales, and inventory team - Providing guidance to junior accountants (if applicable) Your qualifications should include: - B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience - Proficiency in Marg ERP Software (mandatory) - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian Accounting Standards - Proficiency in MS Excel and general computer skills In addition to your technical skills, the following soft skills are required: - Detail-oriented with accuracy in data entry - Good communication and coordination skills - Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure - Problem-solving attitude The working hours for this full-time position are from 9:30 AM to 6:40 PM from Monday to Friday, with a half-day on Saturday. **Benefits:** - Cell phone reimbursement - Food provided - Health insurance - Paid sick time - Provident Fund Please note that the work location is in person.
