Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in day-to-day accounting, customer communication, and documentation. This role involves managing routine accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with customers over calls for payments and document follow-ups, and ensuring proper filing of all financial and operational paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting Support:

  • Record daily transactions in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks).
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
  • Track and update accounts receivable and payable.
  • Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filing.
  • Export/Import Documentation

2. Customer Coordination:

  • Call and follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
  • Confirm invoice receipt and resolve basic billing queries.
  • Maintain a follow-up log and share payment status updates.
  • Handle customer documentation requirements or escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting and back office support roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks).
  • Good communication skills for customer interaction (both verbal and written).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in customer support or follow-up calling.
  • Understanding of basic taxation (GST, TDS) and invoice structure.
  • Familiarity with document management and filing systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
