Job Title: Accounts Assistant – Gold jewellery

Location: Chennai , Tamil Nadu
Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years in Gold Jewellery
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi; Basic knowledge of Tamil preferred
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel,Tally ERP, emails and general computer usage
Salary: 25,000-35,000

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Accounts Assistant with a good background in the gold jewellery industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Should be able to cut rates
• Manage Account Inward & Outward
• To Manage only gold inflow and outflow accounts in Tally ERP & Excel
• Maintain the stock ledger in the gold Inward & Outward
• Maintain day-to-day financial records for retail and wholesale gold transactions.
• Support in tracking and reconciling stock levels of gold jewelry items
• Assist in physical stock audits and ensure consistency with system records.
• Maintain accurate ledgers for vendors and customers.
• Maintain proper documentation of transactions and compliance records.
• Work closely with sales, inventory, and procurement teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Communicate with suppliers and clients regarding payments and accounts.
• Stay updated on industry-specific accounting practices, gold rate fluctuations, and compliance guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3years of Accounts experience in the gold jewellery industry
• Strong personality – bold, smart, and confident in decision-making
• Fluent in English and Hindi; basic Tamil
• Should be clear & confident while they speaking
• Self-motivated and capable of managing accounts independently
