Position: Accounts Assistant

Department: Accounts & Finance

Location: AJIT BAKERY , BUTIBORI

Reporting To: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager

Job Summary

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in preparation of reports, invoices, and data entry. The role ensures smooth functioning of the company’s financial system in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally / accounting software.

Maintain ledgers, vouchers, purchase and sales entries.

Assist in bank reconciliation and cash handling records.

Prepare and process invoices, bills, payments, and receipts.

Support in vendor and customer account reconciliation.

Coordinate with internal departments for bills and expense claims.

Help in preparing monthly MIS reports, GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

Maintain files and documentation for audits and compliances.

Track petty cash and expense statements accurately.

Assist senior accountant in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications & Skills

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

1–3 years of experience in accounts department (FMCG experience preferred).

Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and MS Office.

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.

Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
