Accounting Trainee

The main purpose of your role is to support the goals of the General Accounting team by delivering routine accounting activities and assigned projects accurately and in a timely manner. Your responsibilities include performing tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and other month-end close activities. You will act as a liaison between Kimberly-Clark and third-party auditors, providing transaction support, handling inquiries, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines. It is essential to consistently apply established corporate financial controls and maintain process documentation and policies to uphold accuracy, effectiveness, and reliability of financial controls. You will be expected to identify, recommend, and participate in process transformation opportunities and special projects that cater to customer needs, enhance efficiencies, and streamline department processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is essential for this role. Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work through challenging situations or complex problems to achieve goals are necessary qualities. You should demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, provide stakeholder updates and communications, collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Prior accounting experience is preferred for this position.,
