Job Description

As an Accounting Team Lead at iConsultera, you will be responsible for handling a set of clients/portfolios in the Real Estate field. Your role will involve: - Performing reconciliations. - Ensuring clients consistently receive service excellence in line with service standards. - Developing in-depth knowledge of all clients' financial matters. - Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable taxation and other relevant legislation. - Establishing accounts and posting transactions to maintain records of financial transactions. - Developing a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts. - Maintaining historical records by filing documents. - Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. - Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying and enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 4 years of accounting experience within the corporate/business sector. - Hands-on experience in AP and AR using QuickBooks in Real Estate Accounting. - Educational background with either a Bachelors or Master's in Commerce. - Good English communication skills. - Knowledge of GAAP, US Accounting, and Taxation processes. - Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas. - Must be a CPA candidate or CPA enrolled.
