Accounting & Tax Associate

As an Accounting & Tax Associate at BKCProHub in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will be responsible for various accounting and compliance tasks. Your main responsibilities will include: - Handling day-to-day accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and account reconciliation. - Assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and audit documentation. - Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with statutory requirements. - Assisting in the preparation of management reports, budgeting, and forecasting. - Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for timely submissions, including auditors and tax authorities. - Assisting in the preparation and filing of various direct and indirect tax returns. - Contributing to process improvement initiatives and automation within the accounting department. To be successful in this role, you should have: - Qualification: Inter CA or equivalent with completed Articleship. - Minimum of 12 years post-Articleship experience in tax, accounting, auditing, or financial reporting. - Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or any ERP system. - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting fundamentals and working knowledge of taxes. - Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills. - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Personal attributes including a proactive problem-solving approach, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. This is a full-time, onsite position with working hours from 11am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is competitive and based on experience.
