Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting:

  Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

• Auditing and Assurance:

  Plan and conduct comprehensive financial audits for clients, assess financial operations, and collaborate with internal and external auditors to address any financial irregularities.

• Taxation:

  Manage all aspects of taxation for individuals and businesses, including preparing and filing income tax returns, developing effective tax planning strategies, and resolving tax-related issues.

• Financial Advisory and Consulting:

  Provide expert financial advice and support to clients or management on areas such as budgeting, cost reduction, profit maximization, risk management, and business improvements.

• Compliance and Regulation:

  Monitor financial transactions and ensure strict compliance with all financial laws, standards, and government regulations.

• Process Improvement:

  Review existing accounting systems and procedures, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

• Team Collaboration and Mentorship:

  Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and, where applicable, manage and mentor junior accountants and trainees.

Qualifications and Skills

• Required Qualification:

  A fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is essential.

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Experience:

  Proven experience in an accounting or auditing role, preferably within a public accounting firm.

• Technical Knowledge:

  In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.

• Software Proficiency:

  High level of computer literacy, including advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

• Analytical Skills:

  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

• Soft Skills:

  Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, along with high ethical standards and integrity.

• Business Acumen:

  Strong commercial awareness to provide relevant and valuable business insights to clients.
