Job Title: Accounting Executive - Freshers can apply with accounting principle knowledge

Location: Karaikal, Pondicherry

Time: 9am to 7pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in accounting. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Tally and have working knowledge of GST filing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash entries.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of basic financial reports.
• Support senior accountants in audit and compliance-related tasks.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills, and vouchers.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and company policies.

Requirements:

• B.Com or M.Com degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Proficient in Tally ERP.
• Hands-on experience with GST filing and compliance.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table is a plus).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
