Accounting & Back-Office Intern

Job Brief / Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Accounts and Back-Office operations. You will assist the finance team with bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, documentation, and general office administration. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world accounting practices and office operations, and provides learning under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in

  daily bookkeeping

  : record transactions, maintain ledgers / books of accounts
• Support

  accounts receivable & payable

  : invoice processing, tracking client/customer payments, vendor/supplier payments.
• Help with

  bank / account reconciliations

  , cash/bank statements, ledger entries, and monthly closing tasks.
• Maintain and organize

  financial documentation and records

  : vouchers, bills, receipts, statements, invoices, audit-related paperwork.
• Provide

  clerical / back-office support

  : filing, scanning, data-entry, documentation, admin tasks (as required).
• Assist in preparing reports and summaries (MIS reports, spreadsheets, basic financial reports) for management or internal use.
• Work on ad-hoc projects as assigned e.g. audit support, vendor-client communication, office operations support, documentation.
