Accounting and Reporting - SME

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support general accounting activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing records to report data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.

This role is contributing to the Finance & Accounting Operational Service based in Bangalore, India.

• Performing general accounting activities and reviewing financial transactions on a daily basis.
• Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts for discrepancies in an automated environment.
• Leading the Balance Sheet reviews for the Electrification business Area.
• Executing accounting analyses and reports to support finance and business leaders.
• Managing stakeholder communication by providing analytical insights and recommendations.
• Preparing reports, statements of accounts, reconciliations, and control testing for applicable controls.
• Monitoring review points end-to-end and driving closure with respective countries and controllers.
• Performing review of reconciled GL accounts in the group tool
• Ensure all Internal Controls are followed as per design.
• Initiating Quality improvement initiatives and Training others on specific accounting and reporting related topics as and when required.
• Addressing audit queries [Internal & External] by providing necessary clarification/supporting documents

• Education: Bachelor's degree or CA/ CMA in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in R2R (Record to Report), Balance Sheet Reviews, Reconciliations, General Accounting, General Ledger, and SAP.
• Strong proficiency in SAP experience with SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Flexible to work across shift timings and capable of working under pressure during month/quarter-end closures.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Mandatory working from office hybrid mode available only at manager's discretion.
