The Practice Head role at Wipro aims to enhance organizational capability by providing strategic direction, designing and executing sustainable programs, policies, and processes for talent development, engagement, and retention within the practice. As a Practice Head, you will be responsible for developing the overall practice charter, achieving talent capability improvements, determining optimal team structure, and roles for increased efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include addressing practice-related challenges, designing and deploying specific programs, processes, or interventions, and driving contextualization as per unit requirements. You will also be involved in developing new programs in consultation with business leaders and external parties, enhancing the effectiveness of existing programs, and implementing frameworks for program effectiveness measurement. In terms of team management and development, you will provide direction and guidance to the team, complete all people processes such as performance reviews, and build team capability through performance reviews and recommending learning interventions. You will support and motivate the team by coaching team members, aligning them with annual plans and performance goals, and encouraging self-development and capability building. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in Human Resources with 3-5 years of experience.
