Position: Accountant Location: Hyderabad Reports to: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate records of Books of Accounts (BOA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT and ensure timely filings and payments. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning. • Process vendor invoices, payroll accounting, and employee reimbursements. • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts. • Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and records. • Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and fund management. • Utilize ERP/accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books (or Zoho Finance Suite) for day-to-day operations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance. • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Tally, Zoho, etc.). • Analytical mind set with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure. • Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field. Min 2 years of experience in accounting/finance roles. • Experience in statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting is preferred.
