Accountant/ Senior Accountant

Role Overview: As a Finance Associate, your role will primarily involve maintaining an accurate record of financial transactions, updating and managing the books of accounts and ledgers, and ensuring the accuracy of accounts at all times. You will also be responsible for reconciling entries into the accounting system and monitoring variances from the projected budget and accounting processes. Your knowledge of local laws will be crucial to comply with reporting requirements effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions - Update and maintain the books of accounts and ledgers - Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system - Ensure correctness and accuracy of accounts at all times - Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions - Monitor any variances from the projected budget, accounting systems, and processes Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or commerce - Additional Post Graduate Certificate or Degree will be preferred - At least 6 months of US bookkeeping experience is an added advantage Additional Company Details: The company values proficiency in Microsoft Excel, high attention to overall accounting systems & processes, and understanding of financial statistics and US accounting principles.
